All our weekends have been dedicated to sanding down the patio and room doors. We bought another 3 doors from a lumber yard in Klang. Apparently these doors were from a KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu - Malaysian Railway) office. It's solid, heavy and a unique in design.
The sanding down was done by machine while the edges had to be done by hand by sand paper.

ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting our blog. The four panel door was from the house itself, we just sanded down and varnished.
As for the KTM doors, we purchased it at Jalan Meru in Klang from one of the re-cycled yards.
BTW, the price is about RM250.00 each, that was about two years ago. Not sure if the price has gone up or down now.
